Everything starts with curiosity and a question.
Research itself is driven by the questions that don't go away. The ones that keep you up at night. These are the ones I keep coming back to (and yes, sometimes they keep me up at night):
- How do we seamlessly design neuroadaptive systems that are multisensory, without overwhelming the user? (For example, motion sickness in VR is often treated as a single-sensor problem like GVS, even though we are fundamentally multisensory.)
- How can physical AI act as a catalyst for the next generation of devices that actively adapt to both their environment and the person (or people) using them? (Enter soft robotics...)
- How can biosensing data and immersive systems be used (in the most positive way) to shape perception, emotion, and communication?
I explore early iterations of these ideas on my Work page.
